Cash register management
Cash register management in Shopify POS helps you track and handle cash payments throughout your business day. A register session is a record of all cash activity and payments during specified intervals, including the starting float, any cash added or removed, and the final count. At the end of a session, the Cash tracking and the Session reports summarize the payment activity so that you can compare your expected cash total against what’s physically in the drawer and get an overview of the payment types during that session.
