Getting paid with Shopify Payments
After a customer pays for an order using Shopify Payments and specific accelerated checkouts, the funds are transferred to the payout bank account that you set up with Shopify Payments.
The following types of accounts can accept Shopify Payments payouts:
- a checking account that meets the bank account requirements for Shopify Payments in your country
- a Shopify Balance account
In certain countries, there's a minimum payout amount for Shopify Payments. To check whether your country has a minimum payout amount, review the Minimum payout amounts section of the Shopify Payments country where your store is based.
With Shopify Payments, you can receive payouts in a different currency than the currency that you sell in.
